THE ACTIVITIES
The embryonic idea of Guariamoli dates back to the January 2010 and it comes from the collaboration with the Italian Army that was in Kosovo, and particularly with the CiMiC (Civil Military Cooperation)-Health Team, with the lieutenant Carmelo Chiolo as chief.
The main aim of Guariamoli, and the basic reason of its birth in the April 2010, is to optimize the available resources and to help the dialogue between the subjects involved in the cases of patients who couldn't be cured in their own country for different reasons.
Through a strength relationship carried out by the activities of the Associations for years, Guariamoli is able to manage quite quickly every reported case.
The shrewd and continuous monitoring of the activities allows a steady development of the performances referring to the response time and the quality of the service.
A further aim is the constant raising of funds necessary to patient care, for which the Network assures the accuracy and completeness of all documentation necessary, in order to enable the funder motivation and traceability of the contribution.
Such person (public or private) is always kept up to date on the evolution of the therapeutic process followed, both for institutional reasons and for personal reasons that are sometimes triggered in our interlocutors "behind the desk" to see the dedication with which cases are followed.
Finally, through information obtained by the network and the interest of individual member associations, medical screening on foreign territory are organized, in collaboration with local and Italian hospitals and Associations, provides the sending of certain types of drugs that are difficult to find or due to unsustainable costs for assisted patients.
